Not worth the money...

I have never read Laura Marie Altom books before, and if the rest are like this than I will pass. I don't know where to start with this book. The beginning started out really good, but after 50 pages the book went from bad to worse. I really didn't see the chemistry between the main characters. They are thrown together so fast, and say "I love" so fast, it's a joke. I liked Jace, he had his flaws, but all-in-all he was a good character. I liked Emma, in the beginning, but as the book went on she just got worse. I felt sorry for her, because of what she went through. But her constant pity party became annoying. She should have had some therapy, because all she did was make herself out to be the victim. Jace, went through some drama in his past that involved lies, and in the beginning Emma does lie to him. However, when she tells him the truth, and Jace gets angry, she once again makes herself out to be the victim in everything. If Emma to be such a "loving" mother to Jace's twins, why does she basically do the same thing their biological mother did in the beginning of the book?
I was hopping we could also learn more about Jace, and his job. He was supposed to be in the Marine's but the book hardly talks about it. Like I said I will probably not read any more books by this author. If you want to read a 212 page "pity party" then you should read it.

What?

Is this a joke? You have a marine fighter pilot holding two babies in what seems to be Iraq in the background. This guys needs to give those babies back to their parents! I feel sorry for the people who have read this trash. Go outside and get some air, I think the glue that holds this book together is killing your brain cells.
