I don't like him. The heroine is a wimp and I ...

The hero is an arrogant jerk. I don't like him. The heroine is a wimp and I didn't like her either. And that was the good part of the story. I'm not sure how the heroine fell for the hero at all. But then, she's a wuss and he's an ass, so I guess it works out.
SPOILERS:
Towards the end, there's an event where one of the children ends up in the hospital. The parents are told to leave a small child in the pediatric ICU without them. THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN. Parents have to stay because there aren't enough nurses to cover every child in a pediatric ward with full time care. They would *never* kick a parent out of their baby's hospital room if the child was just there for observation. The child had a febrile seizure and was sedated and tests run. THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN. Unfortunately, I had the experience a month or so ago and if the child is within a certain age and comes in with a fever, they write it off as a febrile seizure and do not subject the poor child to tests unless the seizure did not occur with a corresponding fever. The heroine says, after the incident, that there will not be more seizures because they tend to happen at the beginning of an illness. THAT IS NOT TRUE. In many cases, seizures come in groups and there is a high likelihood that there will be another seizure within 24 hours of the first one. (Per the ER doctor was saw after our child had one.)
Then, the very end--the epilogue--is full of more incorrect medical information and other stuff that just didn't make sense. The book was okay until the final three chapters, then I wanted the throw my kindle across the room.
Please, Harlequin, at least fact check your novels. Some people read this stuff and then think they know important information, but really, they have incorrect info and it's potentially dangerous.

A good book

I really like Emile Rose's books . I have bought quite a few of her romance novels over the years. She is a great story teller and an easy read to just relax and enjoy type of books.
