JD Gonzalez drew me into this spellbinding story by Marin Thomas about three people searching for someone to love them. JD, cattle rancher and ex-rodeo rider, turns up the heat in West Texas when Josephine Delaney arrives in town. Josephine plans to take her motherless nephew home to live with her rich family, the same family she wishes would love her. But when she meets JD things change. Tall, broadshouldered, loving father, JD Gonzalez comes on strong and attracts Josephine, successful finance executive, as no one has before. Sparks fly and ignite a fire neither one can quench. Invited to stay for a while by JD's wise adopted father who took JD in as an orphaned child, Josephine questions who her nephew would be better off with - JD or her rich parents. JD finds he can't get enough of Josephine. With nothing to offer her but a mortgaged cattle ranch, he's afraid to admit his love for her until he fears he may lose her as well as his son to the lifestyle of her rich family.
City girl, Josephine, made me laugh out loud with her determination to get along in cattle country. Strong characters enrich this suspenceful story, and had me cheering them on. JD is a strong hero romance readers will love. I highly recommend Daddy by Choice by Marin Thomas. With her strong, complicated, sympathetic characters, this romance makes for a heart-tugging, suspenceful, sensual read. I couldn't put it down, and I can hardly wait for the next book by Marin Thomas.

Wonderful book

I found myself trying to read faster to find the outcome. Holding my breath, crying for JD and Bobby. This book keeps you engrossed, involved and not wanting to put it down. I am glad that money and prestige didn't win over love. Loved the ending. So many books end so abruptly. Great job, Marin!!!!!!!! :)

This was a very touching book that goes to show you don't have to be blood related to a child to be a daddy.jd and josies story was a great one. The ending was truly a happily ever after.I can't wait yo read more of Marin's books!!!
